Nurturing The Mother: A New Era
Nurturing the mother goes beyond helping mama with baby so she can fold laundry, wash the dishes, take a shower or run errands alone. It goes to washing the dishes for her, sweeping the floors for her, getting her a cup of tea, folding the clothes for her, bringing her and her family a home-cooked meal. All without asking if she needs help, and with zero expectations of receiving anything in return. She may say no to your gesture, however she is crumbling on the inside desperately wanting to say yes but not wanting to seem lazy or incapable. Most importantly, nurturing the mother means giving her space to feel valid in her emotions, to be a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.
An Open Letter to The Mama Who Feels Like She’s Falling Apart
Mama, I need you to know that you are enough, perfect the way you are in all that you are.
I know it feels hard right now, however it will all be okay. Know that, believe that, trust that.
Welcome Home, to THE Village
There's a conversation that keeps coming up in my world. A conversation that I'm here to bring awareness to and a conversation that I'm here to hold the space in order to provide the support.
